Artists Bio

Moritz Hofmann is a German born, New Zealand based landscape and nature photographer who has honed his photographic skills since the early 90s. Originally drawn to New Zealand for its great vistas and beautiful nature, Moritz now focuses more on intimate scenes. He currently works on a long term project of graphic, abstract and sometimes painterly coastal scenes.
Like many other landscape photographers, Moritz hopes to instil a sense of awe and respect for mother nature through his artwork and to bring beauty to the walls of his customers.

For every print sold a NZD 50 donation will go to the Yellow Eyed Penguin Trust. Yellow-eyed penguins, also known as hoiho, are one of the rarest penguins in the world and are only found in New Zealand. To learn more about the trust visit: https://yellow-eyedpenguin.org.nz
